Itemised bills

From a photo of a bill, Halvies reads each line: how many, the line total, and extras such as service, tax added on top, a surcharge or a tip. Check the lines, then either say who had what yourself, or send the bill to the group so each person picks their own on their phone.

Each unit of an item can be picked by one person or shared by several; a unit shared by several is split equally between them. A line of 2 Margaritas has two to give out: once both have someone, + stops, and Some shares one instead. Extras aren't picked: they're shared in proportion to what each person had, so if your items are 60% of the items you pay 60% of the service and tax.

A bill counts in the balances straight away. Until everything is picked, anything nobody has picked yet is split evenly between everyone on the bill. The bill stays open, even once every unit has someone, so anyone can still fix a wrong pick. It ends when whoever put it up taps Finish, which splits whatever is left evenly for good; after that the picks can't change.

The expense keeps the bill's total, so the split always adds up to it exactly.
